Purchase guidance

Abruzzo Casa gives you English-speaking guidance throughout the search, purchase of new property, existing propertyor renovation of your (second) home in Italy, in the Abruzzo region. We can also support you with the rental or management of your property in Abruzzo.

We do this ourselves or in collaboration with our partners. Everything to provide you with the best possible service, without having to worry about permits, renovations or not knowing your way through the jungle of rules (the bureaucracy). This way you can enjoy the beauty of Abruzzo wonderfully and carefree, and you also get a good return on your investment.

Purchase inspection

In short, there are a number of things that need to be checked carefully when you buy a house in Italy, and that applies to all of Italy. In addition, you can do additional research if you think it is important to do before you make your offer.
When buying a home, we check:

  • Land registry papers

  • The property that belongs to the house
  • Procurement papers
  • Energy report
  • Municipal permits
  • Municipal destinations
  • Renovations done to the house

Financing / mortgages

It is (almost) impossible to get financing for your property in Italy from a English, Dutch or Belgian bank. It is sometimes possible to obtain financing on the equity of your property, which you can then use to finance your property in Italy.

Italian banks generally provide financing up to approximately 80% of the value of the property, but this only applies if you have been a resident in Italy for 3 years. If you are not already, which is usually the case, the banks are willing to finance up to about 50-60% of the value, if your income allows it. We can help you with the mortgage application and also work with partners who take care of your financing in Italy.

We put as much of our home selection online as possible so that you can search for it yourself. This way you can see which houses appeal to you and which do not. And if you would like more information such as extra photos or a video viewing, let us know! Consult with your own personal purchasing consultant, or schedule an on-site viewing.

Free search profile
In our search profile you can clearly indicate what exactly you are looking for (or approximately). Even if you don’t know that very well yet, that doesn’t matter, that is the case with everyone who starts searching. Precisely because you search and see a lot of houses, you get to know better and better what you do and do not want. Then make use of it! Even if you know very well what you are looking for, the search profile is of course very useful.

We search all our houses with your search profile. We will then let you know which houses all match your search profile. And if we add new houses to our offer that match your search profile, you will automatically receive a message!

Personal search.
Suppose you have already viewed our house offer and also filled in the search profile, but unfortunately your dream house is just not there yet… .. You can. We can then forward your search query to our local Italian partners. These people know what is for sale in their area and what is not (yet) for sale, but may be available soon. This way we always find what you are looking for, even if it is not yet on the market!
